Winter Has Come Again

Winter of 2008
It was a great summer for weather, both July and August brought lots of sunny days and very little rain.
Fall colours came early and we really didn’t get an Indian summer experience.
But now comes the winter of 2013 and it’s late November with 4 cm of snow on the ground.
If we are lucky it will be like the winter of 2008, no shortage of snow.
Good News For Downhill Skiers
Sir Sam’s in Haliburton is making snow which began on November 13, 2012, the earliest in the winter history of 48 years of service.
